Animate Intransitive (VAI3) and
Nouns |
| A.
INTRODUCTORY NOTES: |
| In
this lesson, we will learn the third type of Animate
Intransitive Verbs, VAI3
Verbs. You will notice that they are yet a little different from
VAI2 Verbs. |
| First
then, let's look at the VAI3 Verb Conjugation
Table. Notice that VAI3 Verbs end in "in." |
"Dagoshin"
- to arrive - Conjugation |
Speaker |

*Notice
that there are just a few changes, which occur mostly in the plural.
Because these Verbs end in a consonant, we must add the vowel
"i" before affixing the plural endings
that begin with a consonant. As you can see, VAI2
and VAI3 Verbs
are very similar. |
